Tucker University Class 101
Add to Design Board
Sku #: cq071418

1 session class with Barbara Chambers. This is the first in a series of classes using the fabulous rulers by Studio 180.

Class fee includes teacher's fee, a Technique Sheet, and a Design Sheet

Class meets Saturday, July 14, from 10:00 to 2:00.

Learn how to use a Tucker Trimmer I ruler to create precise half square triangles, quarter square triangles, and combination units. Class 101 is the perfect class for any quilter to begin their journey through the Studio 180 Design set of tools.

You will also learn how to expand the use of your Tucker Trimmer I by creating a Shaded Four Patch unit. By using Deb Tucker's method of strip piecing to make a shaded-four patch, the quilter eliminates stitching on the bias which eliminates stretching and puckering. The Design Sheet includes a wide array of layouts that can be created with just one block.

Use scraps, or purchase coordinating fat quarters. You can choose to make a small project each month, or use your blocks to make a quilt.
